This project consisted of a new 510,300 square foot county government center, including a 220,400 square foot courts wing, each five stories, plus a basement and a 14,600 square foot, two level, central entrance lobby and dining facility between the two major wings.
The construction work also included a 14,300 square foot tunnel and central holding cell connection to the existing Jefferson County Detention Facility, and two 178,700 square foot 572 car, two level parking structures.
Power requirements for the project included outlets, lighting, custom lighting, modular wiring system, mechanical, kitchen equipment, 20 KVA and 50 KVA UPS systems, 1800 KW generator, dimming control system and site lighting. Low voltage systems include low voltage lighting control, addressable fire alarm system and sound system.
