The Great West Life & Annuity Insurance Company is located in the Denver Tech Center at Orchard and I-25. The new Tower III will be constructed adjacent to the existing Towers I & II and will duplicate its construction.

Tower III will be a ten-story building comprising of 272,000 square feet of office space with a mechanical penthouse and one level below grade that will include a large area for conferences and/or conventions.

The electrical service to Tower III will be 6500 amps and primarily distributed throughout the building by means of Bus Duct with critical loads being protected by a 750 kw generator located in the lower level of the Tower. Fire protection to the building will include an Intelligent Addressable Fire Detection and Alarm System.

Ludvik Electric participated in a design- assist program with Gordon, Gumeson & Associates and PCL Construction Services in the design of the electrical system in an effort to offer the best system at the lowest price. A GMP contract will be with PCL.
