Description of Project:
This is a design build project consisting of a complete electrical system for both core and shell and tenant finish. The Denver Newspaper Agency Project is located in the upper end of downtown. Broadway, Cheyenne Place, Colfax Avenue, and Cleveland Place surround it. The Petroleum Building is the only other building located on the same block. The Denver Post (DP), the Rocky Mountain News (RMN), Denver Newspaper Agency (DNA) and the Media News Group (MNG) will reside in this building.
The project consists of two underground parking levels accessed from Broadway and three above ground parking levels accessed from Cleveland Place. Level B1 and B2 are below grade parking. The 1st floor has the main lobby, a 230 seat auditorium, a conference center, two photo studios, a fitness room, general building service areas and five future retail spaces. The 2nd through 4th floor are the above ground parking levels. The 5th and 6th floors are the DP and the RMN newsrooms. The 7th through 11th floors are home offices for the DNA and the MNG. The office and newsroom floors consist of hardwall offices, conference rooms and open space areas with modular partitions. A data center is located on 7th floor.
