| Description of Work: This project consisted of rebuilding the electrical distribution system and maintaining the building electrical services on line. Electrical work included replacing and upgrading the electrical service by doubling the utility company service to the building. Emergency power distribution changes included increasing generator sizes from 300 KW to 1600 KW, and creating two additional levels of emergency power including critical and life safety, along with associated automatic transfer switches, conduit and wiring. By coordinating with the Engineer and the Owner, Ludvik Electric Co. saved the Owner $250,000.00 in value engineering by modifying the electrical distribution system and revising the equipment layout and routing of electrical distribution conduits. |
