Building addition for expansion of electrical and mechanical upgrades to existing Data Processing Center. Electrical work consisted of adding three-750 KVA parallel redundant UPS systems, output and critical UPS switchgear with maintenance by-pass scheme. New electrical work interfaced and added to the existing generator, synchronizing and paralleling output switchboard, transient voltage surge suppression, and 15KV primary power. Modification for the mechanical systems included additional chillers, cooling towers and associated pumps with load shedding scheme for critical power utilization. Project required detailed Methods of Procedures (MOP) for outages, coordination, scheduling, commissioning, and testing.
