Campbell Soup – Project Chicken

Description of Work:

This project consisted of a complete upgrade of motor control centers, PLC system, 480 volt power distribution systems, 15KV service and distribution system, and new general lighting and receptacle systems. Process system included conveyor drives with variable frequency controllers and control wiring. Refrigeration plant included 5KV 600HP compressors with medium voltage controllers and 15KV unit sub-stations for utility and plant power. Process area raceway system is aluminum with stainless steel supports throughout the plant. During the scheduled five week plant shut-down, approximately 16,300 man-hours of electrical work were completed on a seven-day work schedule.
