Anheuser-Busch Can Plant

Description of Work:

This project consisted of a 200,000 square foot can plant with two lines production, 500,000 cans per day, computer process controlled. Each can line consists of uncoiler, lubricator, cupper, body maker, trimmer, birquetter, wet can conveyor system, washer, bright can conveyor system, printer, base coater and base coater oven, printer oven, spray infeed conveyor, spray banks, inside bake over, neckers, spin flanger, tester, palletizer, runout conveyor banders, shipping conveyors and super sorter.

Other process systems included bulk storage, boiler room, water demineraliztion, waste water treatment, 5kV air compressors and vacuum pumps, and pump house. Services and systems for the building include a 15kV primary electrical service, a 5-unit substation, 10 motor control centers, 63 control panels, an intercom system, fire alarm, and industrial lighting.
