The ProjectThe project is a new manufacturing bottling line for Nestle Waters of North America. The installation consists of power, controls, instrumentation, and communication for a water process utilities area that prepares water for bottling and packaging line. The water utilities area is served from a 1200 amp, seven section motor control center with an integrated PLC cabinet. The PLC cabinet is connected to 67 instruments that monitor and analyze the utility water that feeds the bottling line. The bottling line consists of a blow molder, filler, capper, labelers, dyers, conveyers, packers, palletizers, and stretch wrappers each with its own control panel. The control panels are networked together with Ethernet, Modbus, Controlnet, or Devicenet.
