LUDVIK ELECTRIC CO. OVERVIEW

History

In 1980 James A. Ludvik had a vision - an electrical contracting business that would offer exceptional service, quality and integrity to clients and the construction industry. The idea was big but the company started small, with just a handful of dedicated staff that remains an integral part of the company today.

In 1996, the Arizona division of Ludvik Electric Co. was successfully established. With the main emphasis on water and wastewater facilities, this branch has performed over $200 million in electrical and instrumentation work.

Ludvik Electric Co. has successfully completed numerous projects varying in size, scope and industry; from Data Centers to Aquariums and Classified Government Facilities to Resorts. Performing over $1 billion of electrical installations both nationally and abroad, the growth of the company over the past three decades can be attributed to the original vision of exceptional service, quality and integrity.

The Ludvik Difference

Ludvik Electric Co. retains its status as an industry leader through understanding the importance of manpower, technology, relationships and sustainable engineering practices.

Manpower has long been considered one of Ludvik's most important assets. Staff, at all levels of the organization, is an integral part of its success. The ability to recruit at a moment’s notice throughout the United States allows Ludvik to keep projects moving, consistently performing over one million man-hours annually.

In an ever changing, fast- paced construction industry, Ludvik Electric Co. understands the advantages of technology; all staff is equipped with and trained in computerized systems for comprehensive service.

Our in-house engineering department offers a full-range of preconstruction services; from Design-Build to Value Engineering, and is committed to sustainability.

Project Controls

Ludvik Electric Co.'s years of experience is the foundation for their ability to know what it takes to make a project successful. That experience, combined with proven Project Control Standards, allows all Ludvik employees to work together with members of the project team to be efficient in achieving consistent success from early design through project completion.

Ludvik utilizes the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process, in conjunction with Primavera P6®, Accubid®, AutoCad Revit®, AutoCad MEP®, Marathon Accounting programs, and various in-house developed SQL databases to provide a valid, timely and detailed picture of project status and development. Through these integrated project delivery tools and strategies, Ludvik Electric Co. is able to monitor and predict cost and eliminate future conflict areas.

By developing a baseline budget and schedule, cost and timing are monitored and projected for each phase of construction, minimizing potential budgetary and installation conflicts while providing improved communications between the project team during each sequence of construction.

As a result of years of successful administration, Ludvik Electric Co. maintains its stance that people, procedure and tradition assemble talents and foresight to enhance efficiency through all phases of construction.
